Today is not a good day...
Just found out that two of the courses (the two that I actually liked) I wanted to take are full. Rechecked the schedule, and these are the possible other classes that I can take:
Computer Science 111, meets up on Tuesday and Friday from 11:10-12:20 with a lab class on Wednesday from 2:15 to 4:05.
Calculus 115, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:10 to 12:15
History 158 (a study of free speech and rebellion in the past), on Tuesday and Thursday, 1:30-2:40
Sociology 138 (a study of supposed deviance and normality), on Tuesday and Friday, 8:30- 9:40
French Intermediate Spoken, Tuesday and Friday, from 9:50-11:00.
And of course, whatever French class I place into. I only need to take 4 courses per semester and I'm reluctant to take French, Calc and Comp. Sci together since I dislike all three of them. That would mean that I'd hate 75% of the time that I spend in class and studying. Therefore, I'm going to try to take only Calc and French, depending on the level that I'm placed into for French, and my other two classes should be History and Sociology, which will mean that I'll have to wake up early in the mornings for Soc 138 and stay awake since if I place where I want to, I'll have French right afterwards. Actually, my first hope would be to place so well in French that I don't have to take any classes at all, but that's kind of unlikely.
Oh, and I have to take the Maths Exam today. I can't take the French Placement Exam, but someone told me that I can take that exam anytime during the year. Which would be good since I was actually shaking at the thought of having to waste two years of my life studying a language that I speak very well indeed.
Fuck. I've been on my own for one day (my mother only flew back yesterday) and I already managed to mess my life up. I can't believe that I'm this stupid - how did I manage to get into one of the top five university's in American when I can be this fucking stupid?!
