I'm trying to figure out how the punishment would carry out (but alas, my plot-bunnies for Ryuuji seem to be taking a vacation ;~;)--maybe Ryuuji mouthing off to his father (perhaps in anger about the way he's being used and about the way his father looks looks) in defiance, and said father forcing him to get a tattoo to see what being deformed is like. Afterward, Ryuuji is so frightened by the experience that he never dares to oppose his father again, at least not until he meets Yugi and company.
Yeah. Ryuuji's more than just a pretty face--he's dangerous. It would make sense for Ryuuji to be skilled in magic and fighting--he was essentially raised as an assassin, after all. Maybe he plays off of people's underestimating of him as just another spoiled pretty-boy CEO.
Yeah. Plus, the home-schooling would isolate Ryuuji, so there'd be less of a chance for him to rebel after seeing normal families and the way they behave.

Ryuuji starts covering it with eyeliner, both to underscore the meaning of it to himself and his father and to avoid awkwarD "how'd you get that scar?" questions.
Yeah. Ryuuji's a very capable and manipulative person. While I'm sure he'd stay safe, he'd probably have no problem using sexuality (whether the act itself or the hint of having it) as means to an end.
Also, it figures that the best sex-writer I've ever seen is asexual. XD Maybe that's because you can simply examine it logically, or something. ... I mean that as a compliment, but knowing how socially awkward I am, it probably came out wrong. XD
