Dude, whenever I read Elfangor's death scene now, I practically end up bawling. I mean, that's your son! YOUR SON. And you get to meet him for about sixteen seconds before you die. That was awful.

Animorphs is pretty much the only series I've ever gotten into. I've read others but never all of them, so I never really figured it out until I read about it on Wiki.
Cassie... I feel for her, but at the same time, it is a war. Although yah, book 19 was really good. It's one of my favorites, just because it was the first time you really got to look at it from the 'bad guy's' pov. That was one of the first times I ever really read anything like that either. Usually it's so nicely cut and dry, especially in kid's books, so that was a definite 'whoa' experience for me.
