XD Honestly? It's because my icon is the one that I made first, ages ago. If you watch it carefully, you'll see that firstly, the animation for the flag isn't as smooth so there's a white, jagged outline around it and that I missed out on erasing bits of the doll so it's white between her arm and body, and between her legs. So I put up 'Asian Pride' there just because I couldn't get 'Sri Lankan Pride' to fit in a way that looked good.
The second icon I made is the Kiwi Pride one -- the guy I made it for pointed out that in order to be consistant, I'd have to say 'Oceania Pride', but I decided that sounded stupid and didn't fit properly on the space available so I just stuck down Kiwi Pride instead. Sri Lanka doesn't have a quick little nickname like that, alas. Still, there's no way that I would have used 'New Zealander Pride' since it's just too long.
The 'Welsh Pride' icon nearly ended up with 'British Pride', since it was the third one I made, but I decided that it made more sense to stick to keeping it country themed. Alex asked specifically for 'Tribal Pride' on his icon, so that's why it says that instead of 'Navajo Pride'. XD
Basically, it comes down to what looks good and what people want. And in the case of my icon, I didn't think too deeply about it, I just figured 'Asian Pride' looked better and hey, at least it's a good reminder that there are other countries out there besides Japan in Asia!
