I think the latter may have been the case for Chelsea. She was speaking on behalf of her mother, so I think that people assumed she was... old enough or something.

Honestly, I do agree with you about the issue in the case of the child. It's a personal thing,perhaps, a choice in some ways, but it's a quality of life thing and that's what the anti-choice camp doesn't really get.
