I wasn't even thinking about Marik not knowing about it o.O I guess if he had actually said something Bakura would say that he would figure that Marik wouldn't wanna know unless there was something positive or what not x.X But since he wouldn't say anything, than Bakura probably wouldn't either x.X Or ask 'if he's happy now' sorta thing.
