Best Animorphs humorfic I've read in a while. Mmm, I think I'm in love - Kathy and I both cracked up like crazy while reading it. Marco-Tobias centric, utterly hilarious and offbeat. XD

I never got that far. As soon as I heard what happened, I, um, forgot to pick up the last couple of books.

It was rather evil, and as I writer I can understand, but as a fan I was quite annoyed.

O_O How can you understand as a writer? That was just sloppy writing. I didn't mind Rachel getting killed off because at least that was well-written and poignant, as well as logical and somehow fitting, but the cliffie?

A CLIFFIE?!

How unprofessional is that? Leaving avenues open and not stating outright what their future is, fine. Receding from the story to let them develop without recording their everyday lives, sure. But just cutting off right when they ram a ship while on a rescue mission? Uh, no. Hell no. That's just ridiculous.

I stopped buying the books because Anime hit me and when I got back into it, I read that Rachel died and I decided I'd rather have happy thoughts with all the characters alive.

So I can't really say how I feel about the ending.

I can get around death. Canon has nothing on fanon! My favorite character then was Cassie, but Ax has taken her place. But I really love all the characters. Who is your favorite?

Tobias. XD My order went:

Tobias, Rachel, Ax, Marco, David. ^^;; C'mon, a half-human, half-hawk, half-alien (and yes, I know that's too many halves) boy that was always teased, had a poor childhood, and only met his father before his father died and lost the love of his life? Sorry. No way I can resist.

And Rachel reminded me of me, and Ax I loved for pretty much the same reasons as Tobias, and Marco reminded me of me, and David - well, I always have a soft spot for the bad guys. And the part where he was begging Rachel to kill him really ripped at me.

Yeah, Tobias rocks. I've grown to love characters with lives full of angst. And he can draw.

David, I did like him. Very clever. And I loved Marco's view on life. He loved irony so that's always a plus. And Ax could always make me smile. Gotta love a guy who likes chocolate over kisses.

Tobias utterly rocketh XD He's snarky and angsty and PRETTY. And Ax was so sweetly idealistic and lost.

Jake kind of annoyed me though, and Cassie did as well ^^;;; The whole pacifist/tortured leader doesn't appeal to me.
