Stupid connection died and made me lose it but I'll do them again.

Evolution:

After Yami no Malik sends Mai to the Shadow Realm, steals her memories and seals her away, he expects to be greeted by outrage from the Pharaoh's little hanger-ons, and is - it's the thoughtful, almost-impressed look in a pair of poison green eyes that surprises him, and makes him wonder what the boy could evolve into if Yami no Malik wasn't days away from destroying the world.

Perfection:

Ryuuji half-expected Seto's lips to taste like steel and plastic, but instead they were soft and tentative, the other obviously not used to kissing; Ryuuji doesn't mind though, and volunteers to help Seto practice until he has it down perfect.

Fairytale:

Fairytales start with pain, so Ryuuji and Malik are already well on the way to theirs, through their theirs, heading straight for the classic 'happily-ever-after' that they know awaits them at the end of the story (as long as they don't let go, as long as they don't stop loving each other) and nothing will stop them, not even each other.

Ryuuji is giving some presentation for class but Seto isn't paying attention (or at least not to Ryuuji's words), prefering instead to watch the way Ryuuji's lip move; he blames Ryuuji for his distraction, claiming mentally that his presentation is not good enough to hold his interest but secretly Seto knows that he wouldn't pay attention even if Ryuuji was announcing the approach of a nuclear missile - the other's lips are just too fascinating.

There was a time and place for pondering your reason to exist and Remus was quite sure that it was not when your best mate was kissing you, had his hands up your shirt (well, one hand at any rate, the other was stopping Remus from breaking the kiss) but nevertheless, Remus couldn't help but wonder what he had done in a past life to deserve this - from the way the kiss left him wanting to swoon, he decided he must saved the world at the very least.

Canes were not better than staffs in Dumbledore's opinion but Lucius never paid much attention to a man rumored to have acted as a wizard in some Muggle movie about rings - he had, however, listened enough to that particular speech to be fairly pleased when he received an ebony cane for a Christmas gift (he would have been more pleased if it hadn't tried to bugger him, but that was just Dumbledore's sense of humor).

Of all the things that Sam Vimes had found himeslf needing to arrest people for, misspelling the word 'Wizard' with sequins was one of the odder offenses, but this was the Mended Drum after all - they didn't want trouble with the Agony Aunts and Vimes didn't care either way about unlicenced seamstresses, even if they did have long beards which they'd invariably kneel on when trying to bribe their way free.

Motherboard:

Dacompy found it very wrong of Ego to sulk about having to give Dacompy up for repairs; after all, it was Ego's vicious loving and need to constantly Dacompy's keys that had led to Dacompy needing a restbreak - possibly even a new motherboard because really, Ego just was so good that she blew all of Dacompy's fuses no matter how hard Dacompy tried to resist.
