I have this mental image of Bakura with a barbed wire halo, sorted of tilted at an angle that makes it look a little like a crown, wearing black leather pants with black gauze robes like he did for Pharaoh Kura-kura, and maybe a little blood matted in his hair, like the spikes of the halo dig too deeply.

There's a price to pay for being an angel.

What people don't know is that the price is paid in blood.

They'd associate blood with hell, if they ever thought of it. Dirty deeds for a dirty reward, blood tarnishing away at immortal souls until the mortals die and find themselves surrounded by the red of not blood, but fire.

That's not how it works though.

The price paid in blood is the price of the barbed wire halo, the price of self-rightousness, the price of being allowed to kill in the name of God. With blood, the sins of the wicked are cleansed. In blood, the privilege of doing evil in the name of good is purchased.

And the halo's always bloody to remind the angels what they gave to get it.

I slept too well. I overslept until 11:45 and missed the French exam completely. It had ended 15 minutes before I woke up. Unless I can talk them into letting me take it this afternoon, and then talk them into letting me take the Maths exam that I was supposed to take this afternoon tomorrow, I'm going to have do French for two whole years instead of the summer semester that I was planning on.

Yes I read -.- I guess your body really wanted (needed) the sleep >.< Though, I did just read your entry and comment on that much. I do hope that you can still take both exams - or rather, find out if you can take the French exams at anytime...
