Moved inish and meme-ing!
Okay. Got all my boxes in my room, thanks to help from the ever-wonderful Lily and Alma, mostly unpacked, and put a self-imposed moratium on starting up RP threads until I am fully unpacked.
In the meantime, have a couple of memes on my personal journal. Because that takes up less time than RP, really. Reply to as many as you want, repost if you like.

1. Keel was the father he'd always wanted.
2. Keel was the lover he'd never had.
3. Coates knew revolutions didn't last, but a man had to fight for something and laws not worth obeying weren't worth dying for either.
4. When it came to eccentricity versus stability, Coates would pick stability every time. You needed to have your feet on the ground to build castles in the air.

...Argh, not so good, first try at writing PsoH
1. T-chan got annoyed. D told him to be calm. Leon doesn't know about this one because he still thinks that T-chan is just a weird animal who couldn't really hurt him.
2. Leon tried to order take-away from Chii-Wan-Sang's. If D hadn't interfered, Leon would have been constipated for the next week. Leon knows about this one.
3. Leon gave a member of the Chinese mob a parking ticket. It's only because he's the Count's special friend that the ticket wasn't found tucked into the shirt pocket of Leon's corpse. Leon suspects this one, but doesn't know.
4. Leon nearly walked into the wrong room; D stopped him by saying tea was ready. That kind of occurance is too common for Leon to even think twice about.
5. While Leon was looking for D, he hired a plane and flew into the skies. The plane malfunctioned and went down in flames; Leon survived, and a white-winged bird slowly burnt to ashes in his place, wings spread out white over his unconscious body.

If I wrote a story about that icon, it would be about Ginny getting a motorbike. A red, sleek, sexy motorbike with black trim, enchanted to fly like Sirius' or Mr. Weasley's car. She'd pull up outside of Harry's bedroom window, knock twice, and when he wakes up and comes over, she'd pull him into a kiss and practically drag him out of the window. Then they'd ride off into the sunset, chasing the light.

This story was about a girl with wings. Rainbow-colored wings. Nobody else in her village had wings, so they thought that she was a freak and tried to cut off her wings when she was born, but they would always grow back. The other kids didn't like her and threw rocks at her. Nobody would play with her, and animals thought she smelled wrong.
One day, her father came into her room with rope and a burning torch. He said he was going to cut her wings off again and cauterize them so that they wouldn't grow back this time and she could be normal. If he succeeded in doing that, then maybe he could marry her off. Otherwise, he'd have to sell her to the gypsies for their freak show. He told her to hold her wrists so that he could tie them together, just like he did every time before that he'd made her go through the painful process.

If I were going to write a story about this, it would be about how Ryuichi lost Kumagoro because he'd put Kumagoro on top of his head to get a better view and then forgotten he'd done that. And Ryuichi would go around asking everyone if they've seen Kumagoro and the story would be about how everyone would refuse to tell him and just tease him instead, except for Tohma who'd tell Ryuichi to turn around then take Kumagoro off Ryuichi's head and hold it out to him when he turns back and saying that Kumagoro had been visiting him. XD

1) 3:21AM.
Shuichi's asleep by then, and Yuki can type in peace. It's not late enough for him to feel tired, but it's late enough for everything to be just that little bit quieter that lets him concentrate. And he likes the way the numbers count down towards something that'll never happen.

It's a very precise time. For Yuki, it feels like the definition of morning, crisp green letters glowing on his digital alarrm clock. The eight is made up of two zeros; Yuki secretly finds that amusing though he'll never admit to it.

Coffee tastes best at this hour. Yuki carries a mug of it over to the window and sips at it thoughtfully, taking a much-needed break from his writing to watch the (washed, made-up and badly-dressed) masses that buy his books.

Shuichi always calls him from the studio to make sure Yuki isn't lonely or missing him. Yuki keeps the call short and sounds annoyed at being interrupted, but Shuichi calls him anyway.

1) Collarbone. It's traditional.
2) Fingers. It's really hard for anyone to punch her when their fingers are broken and even better, it's tough to pull a trigger or dial a cellphone with broken fingers.
3) Knees. It only takes 40 pounds of pressure to break anyone's knees, and once they're down, Steph's got a good chance of stomping on their fingers.
4) Ribs. Because it feels a little like saying goodbye, to just kick them hard and listen to them suck in a shocked breath.
