Oh, it's not THAT fantastic! Seriously, if you want a rec for anything, try Scott Westerfeld's series, Uglies, Pretties, and Specials. It's a fantastic sort of dystopian world, where plastic surgery is the norm at sixteen and everyone looks forwards to it -- except the people that rebel and run away to live in the Smoke.
