Computer semi-working! Fandomish.
YES! The computer at home is semi-working now! Or, at least, I can sort of access the Internet.
On the downside, Yahoo is getting really weird and linking to user reviews and Yahoo!Answers columns instead of actual articles. *so annoyed by that*

Cold Case has been added to the list of shows that I've started watching quite happily.
Reread HP 7 and post a conversation with Numa, I now have more interesting theories concerning my favorite char in the book. For the sake of anyone on my flist who hasn't read it -- ACTUALLY! Robot roll call! If you have NOT read HP 7 yet, leave a comment to my post saying so. If I get no answers saying that, I will assume that my journal doesn't need to be a spoiler-free zone and start talking about HP 7 without using a cut.
Numa mentioned that Grindelwald isn't really evil, not in the same way that Voldemort is. Voldemort might take delight from torturing people but Grindelwald -- although he does use the Cruciatus curse on Aberforth -- doesn't seem to be like that. He really thinks that he's doing what's best in wanting to have Muggles in their proper places; he's an idealist and unlike Voldemort, he's not a hypocrite since he really is a pureblood.
He also stays loyal to Dumbledore at the end, lying and saying he doesn't have the Elder Wand and Dumbledore supposedly believes that Gellert has repented. And he's only 21 when Dumbledore defeats him, still relatively young!
Ergo, not only is Gellert cheerful and wild and ruthless, he's also got nothing to feel guilty about when he's that young. Or so he probably thinks. He did get expelled from Durmstrang for his experiments, but that's different to actually accepting guilt for his actions. That probably only came later.
HE IS SO COOL.
