Savior has a low opinion of rugby players.

The following is basically a snippet from a gchat conversation where I'm trying to explain rugby to Savior.

me: Basically, in rugby, what happens is that it's a bit like soccer and American football together. If you get a touchdown by hitting the ball to the ground, you get points.
And after the touchdown, you can kick the ball and get more points.
And you can score field goals and drop goals but I don't remember what those are.
And you can only pass backwards.

Cumulative: !
You can only pass backwards?

me: Yes. XD I remember that pissed me off SO MUCH when I played during gym.
Oh!
And if you get tackled, you have to let go of the ball.
You can't hold on to it.
It's like being tagged.

Cumulative: ...Really?

me: If you're tagged, you MUST drop the ball.

Cumulative: Man, I thought they just lacked determination.

Those poor, maligned rugby players. XDDDD

Er. We played touch rugby at school. As in, rugby for young kids. As in, rugby for PE teachers who don't want to be sued for broken limbs. The touch-and-drop feature is definitely not a real part of rugby. Though I'll give you the passing backwards - though you're allowed to kick forwards!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Now go check dj :P

P.S. I'm pretty sure you're meant to drop it if you're tackled!
