Exercises done during self-defense today:
200 side crunches, in sets of 50
20 Push-downs (not up, DOWN), in sets 5
100 some weird coordination bridge thing, in sets of 20
Elbow strike
Heel-palm strike
Sweep kick
Snap kick
oOmbinations of the above 4 attacks.
...oh, just remembered that I volunteered to teach self-defense on Wednesdays for four hour blocks in Boston. *winces* With, may I add, sides that I am expecting to ache so much that even laughing will hurt.
And didn't get much sleep last night. Managed to kick myself off at the appointed time, even though that meant I had just enough time to show Dani the new icons I made, which was lucky since right as I was doing that, my roommates asked me if I could get off half an hour earlier than the midnight curfew we agreed on schoolnights since they needed to study and apparently can't do so when I'm typing. Finished more fluffy RPing with EKYO though, where Malik spraypaints Jou's house and Marik banishes ducks to the Shadow Realm.
Meh. Got an e-mail from Anna, might have to do calc homework alone this time. Too bad, it goes more easily when I'm with her, and besides, it's fun to chat with her.
...I have class in five minutes. I don't want to go. I want to sleeeeeeeeeep. lol. Kat's being pouty since his hands are hurting. I told him it's his fault for RPing while injured and to go for a walk today, and that I will be checking up on him. Hopefully that'll get him away from the computer.

A small person can still pick a taller person off their feet. Height and weight have very little to do with it - skill and stubbornness count for far more. ^_^

That's what I was thinking xD Buuut... still ^^ For someone without skill - that puts negative points big time... Stubbornness, though, xD Yeah... If I /need/ to do something, I'm sure I'd be able to - but no where near as much as if I had taken classes or trained or did anything to keep myself physically fit.

I could teach you if we meet up and then you'd have the skill. Yelling helps a lot - don't fight in silence, yell 'NO!' as loudly as you can since it makes you produce more adrenalin so gets you hyped and scares the other person as well.
As for physically fit, do you think that you could do 150 crunches every other day? That's what our teacher assigned us for homework and believe me, I can't do them without cursing her mentally. I mean, I do them, but I end up in intense agony - so learning how to fight makes you fit, even if you don't start out that way.
