How do you feel about the idea of dummy journals? There are people who wish to read the RPs that we do but are not skilled enough RPers to wish to join, or simply do not have enough time to partake in the RP.

Therefore, the logical solution would be allow them to create journals for characters that are so minor that they are unlikely to be needed in the RP, as they can still join the community and read the RPs, but when the friends list of the community is checked, it won't break the flow of the RP's setting.

So, I propose that we allow people to join simply to be able to 'stalk' us, but not force them to RP, instead merely asking that they update their character's journal every so often. Also, that way if they wish to RP later, they can easily be worked into the flow of the story.

Does anyone have any complaints or further suggestions to make? Feel free to comment if you do. If I receive a positive enough response, I will post this in the community journal as well to make sure everyone catches this.

Mock description of ygo_rpg for those of you who don't know it. Written in the form of a disbelieving comment to Neko aka Ygui-mun.

"You know this RP grows steadily more bizarre: Yugi is a chibi, Otogi's lost his mind, Marik was a PINK kitten, Malik and Marik are working together, Jou is making out with coat hangers under the impression it's Otogi, Bakura is talking to kittens, Seto stalks people around cities, Mokuba allows himself to get kidnapped, Isis gave her Tauk to MARIK and has a bed that Malik is obsessed with, Mai is being beaten at arrogance by a child, Shaadi just makes journal entries at random with NO capitalization (you'd think someone who has been around for so long would have a better grasp of grammar...), Set is brought out by a magic sheep called Vincent whom Mokuba is related to (I guess that explains Bakura and Seto being related, the white fluffiness of Bakura's hair definitely can be traced by to sheep in his ancestry), and Ryou is a Cream Puff, which makes Bakura a Marshmallow.

"Meaning that Bakura is a thief, a sheep-descendent, a Marshmallow, a brother to Seto, Mokuba, Devlin and Yugi, and because he's related to Seto, he's related to Set and therefore Atem. Oh, and we musn't forget that Bakura's the Pharaoh and Marik is his consort. And that Atem's consort is a tree called Flora/Florizel, depending on the gender.

"The only people who are mostly normal are Anzu and Honda. And that's because they don't show up too much."

The RP is schizo, I swear. It has dark torture scenes mixed in with happy weddings to trees.

...and despite all that, we manage to keep it IC.

Sounds good to me. I don't have a problem with it, since it's kinda sad people can't read the actual RP's we do, but it makes sense that the community journal is clear so people can read the rules and such. *sigh* Maybe there's some sort of compromise we can do about that?

But that's really up to Dani and Shii-chan. Still...something should be considered so people can actually read what we've done. ^^;; Not just the journals. *shrugs* Just a thought.

Nervous?? Why would you be nervous? You do well enough. Heck, you're more IC than most fanfics in the fandom, probably about 85% or higher, so why fret?

But really, people would actually like to read this stuff--it's like a fanfic, and since it's so long, they could get lost in it for hours. @___@ (This is kinda what I was working on sometime back...putting all of them together in some sort of order. I'll show you.... One of these nights.)

B/c it's me and I get nervous with some RPs even *knowing* only Rpers can read...

*nods* yeah. I've actually thought about having a ygo_rpg website type thing, that has the logs there for people to read, but I'd hafta check with shii-hikari then check with all the RPers and then get the order and such ^^; (or at least somehow it needing a password or something *shrugu*)

You don't need the order, silly. That's what I'm telling you right now.... I've already put it all in order. We could add the timeline to the site, kinda like an outline of sorts. I've done up until...I think just before the separation plot. Can't e-mail Shii-chan? =/ We all really miss her. =/ This is hard....
