...I'm feeling creative?

Attempt to start on the 20 Themes challenge. Most likely the prologue to a multi-parter... I'd know for sure if PM's multiplying plot bunnies hadn't eaten my map to committement. *mock glares*

Time To Move On.

"You stand before us today, accused of-"

'Being better than you.'

"Voluntary manslaughter,"

'Woman slaughter too.'

"First degree murder, second degree murder,"

'Oh please. All of them were first degree.'

"Malicious prosecution,"

'It is even possible to prosecute people in another manner?'

"Racketeeering,"

'Such fun.'

"Attempted regicide,"

'Not many people can have that said about them.'

"Rioting,"

'Causing riots would be more accurate.'

"Resisting arrest,"

'They're really searching for offences now, aren't they? You'd think that the first few would be enough to get me the death sentence.'

Bored, he dug his nails into the wooden surface of the desk, scratching out his initials. The guards around him, most of whom were nursing split lips or had other such injuries, made no attempt to stop him. Hearing names reeled off, his attention was caught again. 'They're not going to list everyone whom I've killed, are they? We'll be here all night if they do...'

"Ishizu Ishtar,"

'Never had her pegged as the type to be a screamer.'

"Joseph Wheeler,"

'I don't kick puppies. I kill them.'

"Tea Gardner,"

'Preach in the garden of Eden.'

"Rex Raptor,"

'The age of the dinasaurs is over.'

"Mai Valentine,"

'All the money in the world can't buy you life.'  As the list continued, the boy grew bored again, simply tuning out until he heard the phrase he had been waiting for.

"How do you plead -"

'Here comes the fun part.'

"Guilty, or not guilty?"

For the first time since he had entered the courtroom, the boy raised his head to look at the jury, eyes filled with a cold amusement. Softly, he replied, "Guilty." The smirk on his lips widened, and his tone was hard as he said the words everyone else was thinking, "Guilty as hell."

...but I didn't know she knew you. I didn't even know you had a livejournal! *weeps* I only friended her because I like her fiction...

Come to think of it, why do you know her anyway?

*narrows eyes* You will burn for that.

Same reason as you. But it was similarities between Dragonball Z fiction. Yes, that was when we were quite young and inexperienced. I'd known her before she was the Y!Malik fangirl. I knew her before she even thought about writing yaoi. XD In fact, I think she once said I was to blame for her 'coming out' with writing it.... ^^;; ::cough::

But that's all fine and dandy. I still think you carry the blame for yours and for THAT you shall burn with me. ::nod:: :3

LOL! Fascinating. First piece of fanfiction I ever read was Xena: Warrior Princess when I was about 12 or so. I found it by sheer accident, since I didn't even know about fanfiction back then, was amazed by the quality of the writing and downloaded all 1000+ pages of it.

...then got a shock once I read about Xena kissing Gabrielle.^^;

I'd forgotten all about that until quite recently when someone asked me what was the first piece of slash I ever read, and I realized that I actually read femslash before slash, even if it was accidental.

Me burn with you? Hah. I'll be the one burning you.

Oops, one last note.

My first fanfiction was Gundam Wing, first slash was Quatre/Trowa. There was this one extremely well-written angsty fanfiction that got me hooked... I can't remember it now though. Oh well.

I didn't actually get into the fandom with that. I just stored it on my computer and forgot about it for ages until suddenly, my friend told me she was writing HP fanfiction and then introduced me to the wonderful world of fanfiction.

For ages I thought that Animorphs was my first fandom (as the one I first wrote for) and then my world just got turned upside down once I found that Xena/Gabrielle fic. *sighs*
