They're cute, and it's nice to have the woman be older than the man for a change, since usually the accepted stereotype is older men and younger women. However, since I really like Mai, I think that she could do a lot better than Jyounouchi since he’s just not as smart as her and his main qualities are loyalty and determination, which are cute but once the shine of them wears off – once it’s no longer a novelty to her cynical nature – I end up wondering if it would still work out. Ryuuji/Mai is better, but Jyounouchi/Mai is fun too.
