p.s. Do you have any idea what steps I would need to take in order to make an impact? As much as I know, senators and the like wouldn't really pay much attention to me if I wasn't a US citizen (though of course any type of protesting/helping will make a difference). On that note, how long would I need to live in America before I could apply for citizenship? O.o

...I have no clue about applying for citizenship but at rallies and the like, they don't count by nationality, they just count heads, so you'd do fine.
