fickle | about to go

I'm leaving in an hour and ten minutes for the swimming resort. My whole body aches and I'm exhausted. What do you want to bet that I'll only manage a few laps before having to sleep? Meh. Swimming always makes me think of Kat and how when he was on the swim team, he almost drowned one time because the instructor refused to believe that he was as tired as claimed, then made Kat keep swimming until Kat just sank to the bottom of the pool... I hate that memory. Stupid teacher wouldn't let anyone dive in after him, kept claiming that Kat was faking then a lifeguard came by, freaked and did mouth-to-mouth or something, thank the gods. *shivers* I quit swimming for about a year or so until Kat pointed out that if he wasn't scarred by it, I shouldn't be.

...well that was off-track. Anyway, yeah, I'm coming back on Monday/Tuesday, might be online on Wednesday, then I'm flying on Thursday, will be in MA by Friday but only move into the dorm on Saturday or Sunday... So basically, I'm hoping to get uni Net access established within a week but since I'll need to buy a laptop, I don't know by when I'll be able to have Net access for such long periods of time as are needed for RPing. Kat's in the same situation I think, but I'm not sure if he's in France or England at the moment. *yawns* I hope I'm making sense, I feel so dead.

Went to Matt's party yesterday, watched lots of Naruto. Adore it but am trying hard to resist getting into the fandom. However, I have been reading the fanfics. Also met a dude called Anthony who turned out to be 22 despite my original guess having been 18 or thereabouts. *headdesk*

Whee. EKYO is online. I'll chat with her for a little, get offline, eat lunch, then wait to be picked up. I seem to have missed Dani though, shame. *pouts*
