Burns.
Did some more research for DU today. Apparently the extent of damage that Seto's inflicted on his hand will result in third-degree that will most definitely scar and would probably require skin grafting to get anything fixed at all. It would be insanely expensive, and still might not help depending on how serious it is.
...And his hand is going to look disgusting.

I'm so glad I was too young with all of my burns to have strong, scarring memories of them now.
