Gaia Online is a roleplaying site where you get to dress up cute little avatars. I used to be on it, aren't really anymore, but still have an account there with expensive goodies that are probably worth even more now since the value of limited edition items go up with time.

For last few days, I've been dealing with an odd attempt to beg for my account there. E-mails pertaining to it are below, just because I'm boggled about why anyone would think it's a good idea to approach a random stranger and ask for their identity.

She was perfectly polite about it and seemed to realize what a weird thing it was to do, but still, dude. I use Fickle Goddess in multiple places and have a fair share of friends on that account, I wouldn't want someone else using it.

While going through my old entries, I realized that I'd done this for Yami no Malik but never Ryuuji. So, here goes with my attempt to take a look at the world's favorite green-eyed gamer, canon versus fanon interpretations, RPability and some ideas from other people. (Please note, I'm talking about the manga version, not the anime. If you need an explanation of how they're different, read this post for a basic summary or the comments for a more detailed run-through.

Disclaimer: I don't own Ryuuji or YGO. I don't claim these views are 100% right and the only way to look at him. The following is just a listing of popular and rare fanon theories and my take on them, supported by scans from the manga and logical extrapolation.

to everyone else: stop being so nice. Stop it. Seriously. BE a little more elitist. It's NOT TOO MUCH to expect your players to not only punctuate and use pretty words, but to be considerate of other players, or even, you know, funny, or awesome. Expect more. Look for more. You yourself will not become a better RPer surrounded by morons. You learn more and have more fun when you're surrounded by good, intelligent, witty RPers. I consider myself very lucky to have the group of RP-friends that I have now.

Read it, and rethink your own use of the word "elitist".

The OP claims that race is a factor, but what's getting to me more is the fact the victim-blaming being flung around, especially considering how long the abuse apparently lasted for.

Did some more research for DU today. Apparently the extent of damage that Seto's inflicted on his hand will result in third-degree that will most definitely scar and would probably require skin grafting to get anything fixed at all. It would be insanely expensive, and still might not help depending on how serious it is.

...And his hand is going to look disgusting.

*squicked* On the bright side, Diapulse might be able to help. The relevant case is right at the bottom of the page and to get to it, you need to scroll past quite a lot of graphic injuries, inclduing a cross-section of a severed hand.

I'm leaving this post public in case anyone needs to have their RP char turn out a burn victim in the future.

Stayed up until 6 in the morning, woke up at 12, have a major fever+ case of dehydration and feel very sick. *pokies Dani for it* RPed with Sian in the afternoon and am posting the logs here for a very special member of my flist :P

Also missed the deadline for the Project Testing, meaning that I'll score zero marks for that section. Have to write an anime paper by midnight tonight, and do QR exam on Monday.

So, I posted an Adamn/Crowley ficklet over at

lower_tadfield and that converted Sian over to the wonders of that bizarre shipping, so we RPed it a little. And I'm posting the log here so that Sian can pick up on it if we decide to continue the RP later, and in case anyone on my flist feels like reading Antichrist/demon UST.

I pictured Adam as being in his late teens to his early twenties here, but I have no clue if that's what Sian intended. Not kid!Adam anyway.

Oh, and Sian got the Harry/Draco doujinshi I sent her today and Kathy decided where we'll live over the summer so YAY!
