So, in the interests of having another fandom in common with Savior (fairly_grimm), I d/led the Death Note manga 1-15. And now I'm sharing them with all of you, having already given them to read. Above are the zips, and they're fairly good quality (here is a page if you want to see what size/resolution there are) so enjoy them, for those of you who haven't already read it or have only seen the anime.

Oh no, not you too! I'm convinced that Freeman is the source of DeathNote. I recently discovered the series last week, and that and my lack of self control is the reason why I got no work done last week. I also read the entire series in the couple of hours I get when I get back from classes at unholy hours. >_

I read it all. ALL OF IT! Ever since I found it off of 24 Hour Drop. I downloaded it all in one batch and read it all within the week.

What got you hooked on it?
Mainly, the mind games between L and Kira. The idea of being a god really put me off, but I loved reading how they try to each anticipate the other's move and make an effective counter.
The idea of killing evil for the greater good was reminiscent of Weiss Kreuz, and I wanted to see how they were going to run with the concept.
Also, Raito is hot. Oh so hot. L too.
I have more thoughts which are very spoilery under a cut from a few entries ago.
