Currently have a major, though secret (because I don't want to say anything in case it fails), project going on. Any e-mail alerts to my personal Yahoo! account make me all tense and twitchy until I can confirm it's not from the party in question.

Any and all good thoughts or positive karma waves will be appreciated, seriously. *crosses fingers for luck*

Also, to encourage you to go along with that, boys kissing! I actually really like this photo, just because of how tender and sweet it seems, as well as the fact that the boy on the right (my right, his left) has the haircut that I want.

Oh, and in the name of equal rights, girls kissing. See? We like soccer too!

And I have a question and I'm sure you'd know the answer! What does it mean when someone says "that's so meta" on things like fandom websites?

So it means the content is self-referential in some way, like a character in a fic making some comment about their situation that should only be understandable by someone outside the story.

Or alternatively, that someone is talking about the website, rather than the website's subject.

And yes, like the comment below says, "that's so meta" means that someone is calling something self-examining, but in slang terms, it's also a way of saying "That's so deep!".
