Snorting Ritalin
Words of wisdom from a second-hand chick lit book I bought, concerning adults snorting Ritalin as a concentration aid:
"Thing is that pills that are fun to snort are easy to crush. Pharmacists make it this way to turn us into addicts, so who the fuck am I to argue?"
When asked to elaborate, the guy who said the above continues:
"Zoloft and Paxil and lithium are all coated and can't be cut up, but they'd be no kick to sniff anyway. Vicodin and Perdoccet, on the other hand, are easy to crush and -- surprise, surprise -- habit-forming. See? It's a conspiracy. I'm just going along with it."
So, dearest flist, I'm thinking of taking his advice. Neither of my sleeping pills (Ambien CR and Lorazemoan) are working if I just swallow them down, but maybe sniffing them will work! Please bear in mind that I have zero experience sniffing anything except flowers (despite the icon, the only meds I take are legal) and am sleep-deprived at the moment. In other words, no taking me seriously and freaking out because even if a hundred people vote that I should try it in the name of science, I am very unlikely to.
Oh, and boys kissing to prove I'm not completely out of it.

Talk to the one that gave you the prescription on what should be done....
Please, don't. Y'need to talk to a professional on what to do and not risk making matters worse, love.

GOOD. Dude, just imagine the feeling of milk/water (whatever) coming OUT of your nose! OH THE PAIN.

Haha, she already knows what that's like, she's hopeless at drinking and laughing at the same time :p

P/s, this reminds me of some of the polls I've thought about making but pondered how many people would think I was serious when I wasn't and how many would think I was joking when I was serious...
.... I should put that to the test, soon.

And I'll answer this time. No, it's not a fake xDDD No fair asking!

I'm brilliant.no subject
I'm never having kids, I have enough heart attacks from you.
p.s. Much love!

XDDD Didn't we already agree that I'd be a bad influence on any kids you have?
P.S. Much love to you too!

Oh yeah, way to sell that idea to me. Please have kids Kathy, I'm going to lead them down the path of eevil once they've given you many heart attacks!

XDD I was thinking more along the lines of you having many heart attacks because I'm leading them down the path of evil. I think you got cause and effect turned around a little there :P

Either way, drugs are put into certain formats for a reason, and doctors are often fairly specific about how you're meant to take something.
Remember the mint dental floss - things which seem like they might be a good/interesting idea or a 'logical' solution to a problem don't always work out the way you want them to!!

And yeah, point about the mental tooth floss. It's practically going to become my motto now, I think.

I was gonna ask you the other day if your ears were (and now, are) doing better? My piercings actually got infected the other day and were SORE -- and all I could think about was your experience with the dental floss....

Er, mental tooth floss? Freudian slip, my darling? XD

...*DIES* I'm sleepy! I actually read that over twice without catching the mistake. XD

You should seriously see a sleep therapist. Insomnia can only get worst if untreated. *huggles*

*huggles back* Thanks for the wise advice.

What have I told you about cutting things?
Also: GO TO BED.

I know you weren't being serious, but I think this sort of thing is going to at least ruin your chances of getting things back to normal.
When this battle with your sleep is over, and you're finally in control, then please avoid late nights like the plague *huggles tightly*. Make sure you see a doctor soon too. If you need any help I'm here.
Love you to pieces.

And I promise I'm not being serious, seriously. Urgh. Bad wording there but I'm too tired to fix it.
And yes. And yes. And I love you too. ♥

*hugs* I know, I read that, then I read comments and saw you defending that. It just concerns me if you're playing with the idea. I'd so bring you chocolate milk in bed and sing you bedtime stories if I was there.
Yeah, brilliant eh? When I've got something to work you can be the first person to get a prescription *hugs*.

*pets you* Chocolate milk gives me an energy boost and keeps me up. Not a good thing to feed a girl you're trying to get to sleep. ♥ But I appreciate the thought, love.
YAY! I volunteer to be your test subject!
*offers you another bouquet of assorted blue roses*
If not chocolate milk then warm relaxing drinks and hugs. Fluffy pillows, hugs and soft music I think would help. As for energy, are you really that on edge that even a glass of chocolate milk would be too much.
I'll get right on it love XD.
