Opposition Plans for Bush's Inauguration.

I'm seriously considering using what's left of my money to get a plane ticket over there so that I can protest as well. The satirical one sounds good, but the die-ins sound like more fun.

And, on a more commercial note, do you know where your money goes?

Buy Blue lists the major companies and where they donate their profits to - and when I say where, I don't mean which charity organizations but which political parties.

For example, Best Buy contributes to the Republican party *hiss* and Best Buy's executives contributed a little over $45K (100% of their contributions) to Republican politicians in the 2003-2004 election cycle.

Other examples would be J.C. Penny's, Hallmark, Fruit of the Loom, Target, Shell Oil, Sak's Incorporated, Circuit City and others.

A quick note to people checking out the site - a dark blue bubble doesn't necessarily mean contributions to the Democratic party. The site also thinks that remaining completely neutral and not giving money to either side is admirable since it means they're not trying to curry favor, so those stores are also marked with dark blue bubbles.
