This is great. You can get married in Canada, move to Belgium, Netherlands or Spain and STILL have your marriage recognized. >_> Now let's just get the other countries on the bandwagon...

So, let me get this straight? The US is suffering from the biggest deficit ever, there's a recession going on, inflation is popping it's lovely little head up, and he says that a treaty he didn't sign COULD have wrecked the economy? Hate to break it to you Mr. President, but you've already done a nice job of ruining the economy yourself.

Now for more cheerful news on the personal front.

Today was the last day of training for me; I received four different uniform t-shirts (bright pale green, medium bright green, dark green, black), got told that my work hours are 8:30-3:30, and I work Mon-Thurs. And that I get paid for 30 hours of a work a week even though I'm actually only doing 28.

nefthoron should love my job because it keeps my afternoons mostly free to RP with her.
nekokilala should love my job because I share a off-day (Friday) with her.
otakugyrl should love my job because I can stay up late for three nights in a row to RP with her.

...and everyone else I usually catch anyway. It's just those three that are pests :P

Edit: I get $8 an hour, which works out to $240 a week, and $1,920 for the entire summer. About $900 will go for rent, and I don't know how much more for living expenses, but I still ought to have some left over XD.

Oh, and the co-trainee guy that was flirting with me whom I didn't really bother with because he spoke too slowly? He has green eyes. I suddenly find him far more interesting. XD
