Fic recs, please!
I want the darkest, scariest fics you can find, original or fandom both work for me. Drop the links raw in the comments if you want, you don't even need to bother telling me what fandom, pairing or rating it is.
In return, I offer you two excellent Petshop of Horrors fic:
Valentine. Wrong holiday, I know, I know but I love how darkly delicious this is. And it focuses on your typical slash-loving fangirl, putting her in the world of Count D and his exotic pets. Well-written, nicely-plotted and fits in perfectly with canon.
Dementia. A little on the long side, this gave me the creeps when I read it yesterday, seeing as its partly a ghost story. Touches on Egyptian mythology a bit, so I recced it to Neko to read, though she hasn't gotten back to me yet on if she liked it or not.
For those of you aren't here for fandom (I promise I still love you), check out John Dies at the End. Insanely long, a complete mindtrip and one of the freakiest things I've ever read.
To everyone on my flist that have seen four entries appear and disappear tonight, with varying cuts, I'm sorry. I decided they were far too emo to subject you to and in all four cases, hit the delete button after a few minutes. Trust me, you didn't miss out on anything.
