Link of the Day - 404.
Oct. 11th, 2006 01:52 amLink of the Day: 404 Research Lab.
A cool site with a bunch of links to different 404 pages, tips on how to make good 404 pages and some of the most amusing ones. It definitely makes being lost on the web more bearable.
Also, on a news-related field, Google bought YouTube. Thankfully, Google Play is going to remain up since the servers are so much faster than YouTube's. It's why I spend most of my time listening to music there instead of YouTube, though if I want to watch eps of something, I'm more likely to be on YouTube or just bittorrent it.
Speaking of bittorrents, I've just watched My Super Ex-Girlfriend and am currently watching Cars. Opinion of the first is completely and totally BLAH. It's got a really negative portrayal of women but to balance that, they seem to have made the guys unlikeable as well. There's absolutely nothing new or interesting in it, and as far as I'm concerned, I'm sorry I even bothered wasting my time watching it. The only way I could be more annoyed with it would be if I'd actually spent money buying a ticket to see it in the cinema.
On the bright side, Cars rocks so far. XD Which is surprising since I'd expected to be bored by it but nope, it's just funny enough to make the sentimentality bearable. For examples of what make sit worthwhile -- tractor tipping, carflies, and an Arnold car.
