Classic American Movie Recs?
Feb. 9th, 2007 12:25 amSo, since I have finally discovered that my uni library has a a DVD section, I've been trying to catch up on those 'classic' movies that everyone talks about but that I've never actually seen. So far, I've watched The Breakfast Club, Casablanca, Thelma & Lousie and Romeo and Juliet. The last being the version made by Leonardio-person. AT the moment, I'm watching Welcome to the Dollhouse because the title reminded me of the Ibsen version.
If anyone has any recs for other movies (on my current list is Chasing Amy but can't think of anything else), then please comment to tell me. Chances are, if you think I've seen it, I probably haven't unless it was released very recently (like, within the last two years) or is a Disney film. *had parents that were very strict when it came to TV*
Edit: Okay, no reccing horror movies! I hate horror movies and there is no way that I can watch them, even for the sake of catching up with American culture.
